This is a custom offset table insert for the 10ER. It is a solid piece of 1/4" by 2 1/2"
aluminum plate made to fit with a 1/2" gap the left side for the blade slot. It requires
the table to be positioned further from the headstock for table saw work. It would make
rip cuts of 1 1/4" wider possible on the main table. It should allow for tilt cuts with
certain custom lower saw guards but I haven't tried that yet. Also, some dc motors are
over 12" long and will interfer with the table raiser crank unless the table carriage is
moved over. That makes it necessary to extend the quill to use the machine in table saw
mode. This insert would eliminate eliminate the need to extend the quill and make using
longer dc motors less of a problem. These are for sale on my 10ER parts page:
