10ER Drive Sleeve Adapter w/Pulley


Machined steel drive sleeve adapter and drive hub for driving SPT (special purpose tools) like bandsaw, belt sander or jigsaw from your 10ER drive sleeve using the standard Shopsmith plastic coupler. You can also mount the drum sander, 5/8 arbor, et. on the 5/8" shaft. Use apropriate guards and full face shield when using an arbor with grinding stones, buffing or wire wheels, et. Funished with new three step pulley precision machined to fit the adapter shaft.

10ER motor shaft adapter w/Pulley


Machined steel motor shaft adapter with 3 step motor pulley. This adapter is used to mount an extra pulley to drive SPT tools (bandsaw, belt sander, jigsaw or jointer, or your custom addon tools like a 1" belt sander, grinder or whatever. It is furnished with a new replacement three steep pulley to fit over the adapter. The output shaft is 3/4" so any standard 3/4" bore pulley can be used to power your SPT add on tools. 5" pulley show is for driving the jointer. Priced with 5" pulley show. Deduct 10.00 if you don't need the 5" pulley.

10ER 4 Step Pulley Set

Get 7 speeds from 650 to 2000 rpm

The large pulley is a 3, 3.5, 4, 4.5" step bored to fit the 10ER drive sleeve. The smaller is a 1.75, 2.25, 2.75, 3.25" step with a 5/8" bore for the motor shaft. Plus a new high efficency Goodyear drive belt. I specifically put this set together and tested it on a 10ER for those wanting slower speeds for lathe and drill press work. The rpms measured 650, 900, 1350, and 2000 rpm with the pulleys lined up in normal fashion. Running in staggered mode (motor pulley offset 1/2 step from headstock pulley) the speeds are 650, 750, 900, 1100, 1350, 1600 and 2000 rpm. Using this super flexible Goodyear belt running the pulleys offset 1/2 step is no problem at all. There is plenty of clearance under the belt guard for the 4.5" headstock pulley. Much less torque loss than with the 10ER speed changer. Not optimum top speed for table saw work but still usable.

10ER SPT adapter

Mark V Special purpose tool adapter for 10ER. This a like new standard SPT mounting stand with a 3/4" plywood base and two u-bolts to hold it to the way tubes. I made this just to see if it would work and I know it will work with the jointer. I have not tried other SPTs. Just one to sell. Easy to make.
